The questions I get most

Everything parents ask me before they start.

01What exactly is "No Problem Parenting"?

It's a practical, proven method for raising capable kids — built on three steps: seek first to understand, prepare for the worst, and change the conversation. It's not a personality you're born with; it's a skill set you can learn.

The goal isn't a perfect parent or a perfect kid. It's a confident parent who leads, and a home with less conflict and more respect.

02Is No Problem Parenting™ therapy?
No

It's parent coaching, education, and support — not therapy, diagnosis, or treatment. I help you build skills and a plan you can actually use at home.

If your family needs clinical care, coaching can sit right alongside it. It doesn't replace a licensed therapist, and it's not meant to.

03Is this for moms or dads?

Both. Parenting is a team sport. The method works the same whether you're a mom, a dad, a stepparent, a grandparent raising kids, or co-parents living in two different houses.

The more of the adults who are on the same page, the faster things change — but you can start it on your own and still see a real difference.

04Does this work for all ages?
Yes

From toddler to adult child. The three steps don't change; how you apply them does.

There's stage-by-stage guidance for the toddler years, the school years, the teen years — and even the season where your "kid" is grown and you're learning a new way to relate to them.

05Is this just another "gentle" or "positive" parenting method?
No

This is confident parenting. I'm not going to tell you to negotiate with a four-year-old or hand your authority away to keep the peace.

You can be warm and in charge. The method helps you lead with understanding and hold the line — without yelling, and without caving.

06How do I know if I need The Nest or 1:1 Coaching?

Start with The Nest. For the vast majority of parents, the membership — the courses, the community, and the monthly live Q&A — is everything you need.

Choose 1:1 coaching when you want focused help on your exact situation: a specific child, a hard stretch, or a decision you're sitting with and want me in your corner directly. See what's inside The Nest →

07My partner and I — or my ex and I — parent differently. Can this still work?
Absolutely

You don't need a perfectly aligned co-parent to make real change. When one adult gets steadier and more consistent, the whole system starts to shift.

The method gives you something concrete to point to — a shared plan — and that often brings the other parent along over time, even when you're parenting from two different houses.

08How quickly will I see a change?

Many parents notice a difference immediately — often in the first hard moment they handle differently. You feel more confident the second you have a plan instead of a guess.

Lasting change takes repetition, and there will be hard days. But that first win usually comes fast, and it's what keeps you going.

09Will this help if my child has ADHD, autism, anxiety, or a history of trauma?
Yes

The method is about understanding what's underneath the behavior and responding with a steady, consistent plan — which is exactly what kids with extra needs benefit from most.

It's not a substitute for any treatment or therapy your child receives. It works right alongside it, giving you one clear, consistent approach at home.

10Do you accept insurance?
No

This is parent education and coaching, not a medical or mental-health service, so it isn't something insurance typically covers.

That's part of why The Nest is $29/mo with a 14-day free trial — real support, without the billing maze.

11What outcomes can I expect?

Fewer power struggles. More follow-through. A home where you're leading instead of reacting, and a kid who knows where the line is and trusts you to hold it.

Most parents tell me the biggest change is in them first — they stop second-guessing and start parenting on purpose. The steadier home follows from that.

12What's your refund and cancellation policy?

The Nest starts with a 14-day free trial. If it's not for you, cancel before the trial ends and you're never charged a cent.

After that it's $29/mo, and you can cancel anytime from your account. You'll keep full access through the end of the month you've already paid for. No long contracts, and we don't pro-rate partial months — what you've paid covers you to the end of your current cycle.
